The Morning After Rare Disease Day

This year I decided to commemorate rare diseases not on Rare Disease Day. This is why.

As soon as the first rays of sunshine appear (or the first gongs from your alarm ring, since it is after all a work day), those of us who know will wake and put away the zebra paraphernalia. Some of us are the chosen people, chosen against our own will, and we know why there’s- there was, all that chatter about zebras. For the rest of you it’ll be another regular Monday.
